Summary: Why would anyone ever go to Cerulean City, they have ghost-Pokemon, Ash doesn’t care, he’s hungry for those badges. Meanwhile, Team Rocket is daylighting as plumbers. Officer Jenny, whose family as a predilection for hasty investigations and quick policing quips, suspects Ash and Brock are up to something. Brock is a character witness, and witnesses Officer Jenny’s beauty, his advances are promptly yeeted. Ash goes to the gym, but he doesn’t want to get a badge the easy way. Misty doesn’t want him to either, and she challenges Ash. This is Ash’s first battle where he actually uses some strategy and shows some acumen for Pokémon. Misty is fierce, knocking out that Butterfree. Luckily Ash has his Pidgeotto, criminally underrated, that Gust though. Team Rocket crashes the party, and James had that icy blue rose. James wants to go straight after Pikachu sends them into oblivion, is he talking about crime or something else? Ash saves Pikachu, and all is well. Look who has badge #2! Where the hell was Brock! Also, YO BROCKO!
Best Trainer/Pokémon: Staryu, HYUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
Worst Trainer/Pokémon: Goldeen, It can only use horn attack
One thing I learned: Jump in water and spores wash off, sick.
Pikachu-o-meter: 2/5, I get it, you don’t want to face your friend, but Misty manipulated you man. One point for sending Team Rocket off.
