Airdate: May 27th, 1997
Summary: Brock is preparing some adult coffee, while fog rolls in. The gang stumbles upon some good old-fashioned hazing. Shout out to Pokémon Tech, the old stomping grounds of Jessie and James. Pikachu has a fight with the treadmill, and Ash is heated. Ash is trying to take down the system, but when he finds out the system is run by a pretty girl, he balks. Luckily, Misty is on the case. Starmie sends Weepinbell into orbit, and Giselle stunts on all of them. Giselle has some serious battling skills; her personality could use some work. Giselle battles Ash, surprisingly Ash figures out a way to beat a ground-type with Pikachu, a marked improvement from his battle with Brock. Allow us to reintroduce introduce ourselves, our name is Rocket, J to the JM. Team Rocket flees and Giselle has a new friend in Joe.
Best Trainer/Pokémon: Ash and Pikachu, that skull move on Cubone was crafty.
Worst Trainer/Pokémon: Weepinbell, one hit and he is out for the count.
One thing I learned: A wise Pokémon trainers never gets involved in a cat fight.
Pikachu-o-meter: 4/5, solid battle with Cubone, at a type disadvantage nonetheless.

Best Scene: Giselle’s passive-aggressive stunting.
