Summary: Todd has joined the crew, just in time to witness Misty eviscerating Ash for truly earning only two of his six badges, and not having won any in the last 12 episodes. Todd suggests Ash take the Pokémon League admission text. Our testing official is Russian or something, and Jessie has joined Ash in trying to gain automatic admittance into the Pokémon League. Brock has finally found the most beautiful Nurse Joy, from Fuchsia City. James as also entered the competition, just in time to call Jessie an old bat. Our test-takers start Quiz #1, Ash just answers true to everything, James gets triggered by a Magikarp, Jessie also only answers yes. Its picture time, and our crew gets every answer wrong to finish the written portion in last place. In the battle portion of the test, James gets a Pikachu and gets to live out his deepest revenge fantasies. He faces and Graveler and gets rocked (thank you, thank you). James freaks out and sends out all of his Pokémon, who don’t obey him. Its Ash’s turn and he gets, Weezing? At least he knows Weezing’s attacks, and he beats Flareon. His next Pokémon, Arbok, who gets electrocuted. Ash’s last Pokémon is Meowth, who faces Vaporean. Vaporean freezes Meowth. Team Rocket uses the Pokémon they were assigned, but the official turns their Pokémon against them because he raised them.
Best Trainer/Pokémon: The Russian official, what a cool dude, he raised all those powerful Pokémon.
Worst Trainer/Pokémon: Jessie, she lost her cool and treated the officiant like shit, you don’t have to be so salty Jessie.
One thing I learned: There are Pokémon League tests, they are bogus.
Pikachu-o-meter: 2/5, Pikachu did little, and James’ Bizzarro Pikachu got rocked.
Best Quote: “Age: 17, Profession: Diva” -Jessie
Best Scene: Jessie and James having an impromptu picnic.
