Summary: Everyone is hungry, and Ash seems to but resting on his laurels. Tracey announces that Prima, a member of the Elite Four, is doing a demonstration in town. Prima shows up and acts a little, high. Ash disturbs her vibe by challenging Prima. Prima doesn’t accept, and Ash challenges a guy with an experienced Persian, Squirtle takes a tough Thunderbolt attack, and beats Persian with a Skull Bash attack. Squirtle then gets knocked out by a Tauros. Ash sends out Charizard but it won’t listen to Ash, and chars Tauros after it charges it. Charizard goes rogue and disobeys Ash. Prima jumps into action and uses her Slowbro to disable Charizard so Ash could recall it. Afterwards, Prima invites Ash to the demonstration. Prima’s Pokémon freeze the competition. Also, Prima is Lorelai in the video games, why did they change it? This is weird. Prima takes a few dabs and goes on about her theories of Pokémon about strength and connection with Pokémon. Ash challenges Prima again, and she accepts. Ash chooses Pikachu, while Prima uses her Cloyster. Pikachu starts with a Thunderbolt while Cloyster uses Withdraw. Pikachu comes with a Quick Attack but Cloyster uses Reflect. Pikachu lands a Thunderbolt, but a Rage/Aurora Beam/Take Down combo take Pikachu down quickly. Ash learns from Prima that he needs to learn from his Pokémon so that he can learn from battling. Team Rocket come in and goad Prima, who reveals you can buy her lectures for 19.95, well worth the money and best accompanied with some mushrooms. Prima sends out her Jynx and freezes Team Rocket, leaving a sparkly trail behind.
