Airdate: August 19th, 1999
Summary: Our crew lands on a new island, but Tracey and Ash get stunned while falling into a Vileplume. Ash and Tracey are out for the count while Misty nurses them to sleep. Tracey suggests, with bated breath, that Misty should look in the Pokedex. Misty finds out that she needs Salveyo weed. Jessie also got hit with some Stun Spore. Misty and James and Meowth all look for Salveyo weed. James and Meowth run into a Poliwag that has the weed on tail, but this tadpole doesn’t mess around, Victrebell has no chance versus Poliwag. Poliwag is able to escape and runs into Misty. James battles Misty for the weed, and Goldeen smacks Victrebell around. Weezing gets whacked, and Meowth chimps on Psyduck’s head which activates its psychic powers and sends Team Rocket flying. Poliwag helps Misty find some Salveyo weed, and comes along with the crew to help Ash and Tracey get better. Team Rocket sets a whole host of traps, but Misty doesn’t fall for any of them. Team Rocket uses a Southern Belle disguise to get Misty to feel sorry for them, but Poliwag’s Doubleslap attack is too much. Misty leaves Salveyo weed for Team Rocket. Everyone gets their Salveyo weed, and Jessie is ready to try and steal Pikachu again. James and Meowth hide behind a rock, feeling guilty that Jessie is attacking the twerps who helped her.
Best Trainer/Pokémon: Misty, she really saved the day, this is a Misty episode.
Worst Trainer/Pokémon: Victrebell, this bell needs some work.
One thing I learned: Misty will go to any lengths for her friends and water Pokémon.
