Airdate: September 16th, 1999
Summary: Ash is staring at his trophy, but Lapras is going haywire, hauling ass towards a whole school of Lapras. Tracey hypothesizes that the school is the one that Lapras got separated from. Lapras calls out to its friends but they all avoid him. Someone in the school wants Lapras, but the school at large turn their backs on Lapras. Prof. Oak thinks that they are afraid of humans because as Officer Jenny aids, they are being attacked by a pirate. Ash thinks that Team Rocket is behind it, but they appear in the Pokémon Center all bandaged up explaining that the pirate blew them away. Officer Jenny offers to take their statement but they scram. Ash and the crew take Lapras to find the pirates, who start attacking Lapras with bombs of Tentacruel. They come up on the ship and find the Tentacruel harassing the Lapras, Marill swims to get Officer Jenny with Tracey. The Tentacruel surround the Lapras so that the pirates can capture them. Pikachu shocks the Tentacruel but the pirates keep on firing. Ash and Misty start using their water Pokémon to attack the ship’s cannons. The main pirate, Captain Crook, fires his buddy in the cannon, while Ash distracts the Tentacruel from the Lapras. Lapras’ mother fears for it, while Team Rocket comes from the rear, only to get blasted by the Tentacruel. Staryu and Squirtle notice that the Tentacruel are surrounding Ash, HYUUUUU! The Tentacruel raise up, and Lapras uses its Water Gun. Tentacruel responds with a Supersonic attack, but gets frozen by Ice Beams from the Lapras. Lapras and Ash play around, but it’s time to say goodbye to our friend, another sad goodbye, for now.

Worst Trainer/Pokémon: Captain Crook, fuck that guy.
