Airdate: November 25th, 1999
Summary: Team Rocket picks the locks of a museum, as they are dressed up as the famous Black Arachnid. They get stopped by some police, but escape and leave some bottle caps as their signature. Spinarak nets caught our gang, but they explain that they aren’t criminals, and Officer Jenny realizes that they are the crew who helped the Jenny in New Bark Town. Officer Jenny tells them the story of the Black Arachnid. Jams is running out of bottle caps, but Meowth is not going to learn how to use Pay Day. The Crime Fighters Committee has come to order, but all Ash can think about is burgers and fries. The Black Arachnid send a letter to the owner of a trophy saying they will steal it at midnight. All of the Pokémon hide in different places to help when the Black Arachnid tries to steal the trophy. The Black Arachnid doesn’t come at 12, but when our crew finishes eating the thief comes to play. Ash and the crew figure out its Team Rocket. They tell our crew that they fell asleep, James throws his bottle caps, and try to escape but Spinaraks’s net catches them on the ascent. All of the Pokémon that were waiting combine to burst Team Rocket’s bubble. Team Rocket drops all of the loot, and Spinarak catches the trophy with its web.
Best Trainer/Pokémon: Spinarak, what a cool spider, one of the only spider’s I like.
Worst Trainer/Pokémon: Jessie, James is trying his hardest here Jessie.
One thing I learned: James is one of the best characters in the anime.
Who is that Pokémon?: Snubbull, I love Gen 2 Pokémon.
