Airdate: January 27th, 2000
Summary: Ash has his Zephyr Badge, and our crew goes to a beautiful lake town. Brock is hungry for some love, and sees a perfect girl with a parasol. A Marill pops out of the bushes, and Misty is smitten. She throws a Poke Ball that hits Marill, and Marill starts a hard, hard cry. Team Rocket offers the gang a ride, but ends up stealing Marill and Pikachu. Marill’s cries force Both of these cute Pokepals to fly down a hill after being dumped by Meowth. The girl with the parasol claims ownership of Marill, while Misty struggles with getting Marill to stop crying. She asks Marill to use its ears to search for her trainer. The lady, Willamina, is soothed by Brock who says he will find Marill however long they need. Marill runs into a Butterfree Water Gun range, but it hits a host of Caterpie, Weedle, and Beedrill which scare our trio. Brock catches Willamina, and our friends reunite with Marill who is still being chased by Beedrill. Misty, Pikachu, and Marill run away from the Beedrill, but are cornered by a mountain. Pikachu uses its Thundershock to chase the Beedrill away. Everyone is rained in, but Marill runs out as the thunder strikes a tree. The tree almost hits Marill, but Misty saves it just in time. They have a tight bond, and eventually the rain clears. As the trio crosses a bridge, Team Rocket shakes it trying to get them off of it. Misty fends them off, and Chikorita catches Misty as she falls. The crew sends Team Rocket flying, Chikorita hogs more of Ash’s attention. Willamina offers a stay at her lake house to Brock and the gang, but they decline.
Best Trainer/Pokémon: Togepi, our egg friend found the bow, what a champ.
Worst Trainer/Pokémon: Team Rocket, they did their thing, it wasn’t that bad, but it was enough.
One thing I learned: Brock has compassion, and is attractive to some people.
Who is that Pokémon?: Sentret, a cute wholesome bundle of a Pokemon.
