Summary: Our friends show Kurt the GS Ball, but Kurt has no idea what the ball is. They call Prof. Oak and explain the situation, and he tells them that Kurt makes specialty Pokeballs. Ash runs into Kurt’s process but his granddaughter, Mazie, tells him to be quiet. Our friends go apricorn picking, and Mazie helps Ash and the crew pick the right balls. Ash is about to grab an apricorn, but Mazie dissuades Ash from grabbing it because they see a Pineco in the tree. Brock is motivated to catch the Pineco, when he trips on a rock and makes the Pineco explode. Mazie leads them into the green apricorn fields, where they run into some Beedrill. Our friends try and grab some apricorn for the fourth time but they fall into a Team rocket pitfall. Will these kids ever get some apricorn? James pulls out the vacuum, catches Pikachu, and starts cleaning out the apricorn. Ash calls Bulbasaur to pull them out of the hole, and Team Rocket falls into a Diglett hole. The Diglett dig holes to protect the trees and the environment. Team Rocket falls down a cliff. Now our friends get to the blue apricorn fields, and finally get to pick the apricorn for Lure Balls. Ash runs to the black apricorn tree, where Pineco are. Team Rocket is back with their mega bike-powered fan. One Pineco goes to battle Team Rocket, while Pikachu sends a bolt that is absorbed by the machine. Pikachu sends them flying while Brock catches a Pineco. Pineco explodes on Brock in happiness. Ash and Misty get their apricorn to Kurt, who still doesn’t know anything about the GS Ball.
Best Trainer/Pokémon: Pineco, this Pokémon has Poliwag status, always a fan.
Worst Trainer/Pokémon: Mazie, I liked her well enough but she doesn’t have to be so offended by Ash, he’s just excited.
One thing I learned: This GS Ball is a real mystery.
Who is that Pokémon?: Lugia, a top-3 legendary ever in terms of cool factor and story.
Best Quote: “It’s over now, Pineco come on out” -Brock
Best Scene: Pineco exploding on Brock.
