Airdate: May 25th, 2000
Summary: Our friends decide to go into the Onix Tunnel after a day’s rests, while Team Rocket enter the tunnel right away, and Snubbull and Jigglypuff are in the mix. Team Rocket runs into some Onix, and James and Jessie try and battle them but the Onix are not budging. They get thrown out of the tunnel, and decide to steal Misty’s water Pokémon. Our friends wake up, and find Madam Muchmoney’s Snubbull who is on Meowth’s tail. Jigglypuff sings her song and everyone falls asleep. Snubbull finds Jigglypuff marking the Pidgey and steals her microphone. Jigglypuff doesn’t have her microphone, so when our gang finds it Jigglypuff won’t sing its sing. Snubbull is now a member of Team Rocket to Meowth’s chagrin, and Jessie has a new spade to dig with. The gang and Jiggly run and find Team Rocket’s pitfalls. Jigglypuff runs into all of them, helping our gang avoid them. Snubbull leaves Team Rocket’s grasp, Our gang continues to search for Jigglypuff’s microphone, and Meowth is by himself until Jiggly joins him. Jigglypuff wants an audience to hear its own song all the way through, and Meowth wants to find some inner peace. Right when he pledges to leave Team Rocket, Snubbull bites his tail. Pikachu finds all three of Snubbull, Jigglypuff, and Meowth fighting. Team Rocket sings their motto, and Wobbuffet replaces Meowth’s lines. Misty and Jessie fight, and its Arbok vs. Poliwag. This Poliwag does not mess around, and Chikorita joins the fray vs. Victrebell. Wobbuffet counters Chikorita but not Poliwag, and Team rocket blasts off. Snubbull leaves the microphone and chases after Meowth. Jigglypuff is happy, and starts to sing its song. Our friends make it through the tunnel with the help of Jigglypuff’s song.

One thing I learned: Meowth has common ground with other Pokémon when he is out of Jessie and James’ orbit.
