Summary: Our friends read a sign that warns them of ghost Pokémon, and advises our friends to use their psychic Pokémon. Brock suggests they use Psyduck. They run into a weird head that comes out of the bushes, but it’s just a Girafarig who is trained by a girl named Cherry. Team Rocket plans to steal some Pokémon in Cherry’s hometown, Len Town. Our friends stop to eat, Cherry admires Ash’s relationship with Pikachu, and challenges Ash to a battle. Pikachu has the upper hand, but Girafarig’s Future Sight attack hits Pikachu in the middle of the battle. Pikachu’s Thunder attack stops Cherry’s Pokémon in its tracks, she has a lot to learn. Our friends go to Cherry’s town, which is filled with psychic Pokémon. Team Rocket uses their Gengar machine, to attack the town and steal Mr. Mime, and the man who is its trainer runs to warn the town. Team Rocket just uses a mirror to beat the psychic Pokémon. The Gengar rolls into town, takes the Abra, and threatens Ash’s Pikachu. Cherry challenges the Gengar, and Team Rocket shows themselves to be in the robo-Gengar. Cherry is getting angry, and she decides to connect with Girafarig on a new level, and Ash helps Cherry avoid the Psybeam. Cherry will not back down, and has Girafarig use Future Sight. Suddenly, Girafarig and Cherry connect telepathically, she has become one with her Pokémon. The Future Sight attack hits, and Team Rocket is blasted off.
Best Trainer/Pokémon: Abra, this dude is just having fun teleporting around, what a cutie.
Worst Trainer/Pokémon: Team Rocket, they had a great plan but it failed, they should have took Mr. Mime and ran.
One thing I learned: Ash can be a good mentor, this is a season of growth for him.
Who is that Pokémon?: Ursaring, I really like this Pokémon.
