Airdate: August 10th, 2000
Summary: Ash and the gang check on the Pokémon that lost to Whitney in the previous episode. Ash thinks he can beat Whitney, and Nurse Joy gives him some confidence. Whitney comes and takes Ash and the gang to her father’s dairy. Team rocket arrives and dreams of Miltank diary products. Whitney catches Team Rocket taking stuff from the dairy store room, and Ash stops them in their tracks with Pikachu’s Thunderbolt. Team Rocket send their Pokémon out to battle in retaliation, and Whitney uses her rollout. Ash brushes a Miltank wrong, and Whitney’s prize Pokémon kicks Ash after it grabs her tail. Our gang learn that all of the milking works by machine, and Ash and Whitney train together up the hill. Ash observes Miltank in an effort to find its weak spot. Team Rocket uses a robo-barrel thing to snatch Miltank and Pikachu. Ash saves Miltank, and Whitney gives him another shot at the Plain Badge right then and there. Ash hatches a plan to stop Miltank, using Cyndaquil, Pikachu and Totodile. Cyndaquil wears it out while it uses Rollout, Totodile makes the ground slippery with its Water Gun, and digs some trenches. Totodile runs on top of the Rollout, finally Pikachu uses its agility to avoid Miltank and have it go to fast into the ditch, while Pikachu headbutts it into the air and uses Thunderbolt. Ash defeats Miltank, and even though it was not official, Whitney gives him the Plain Badge.
Best Trainer/Pokémon: Ash, he showed real resilience after his first real test in Johto.
Worst Trainer/Pokémon: Team Rocket, they got whacked, and no other candidates were there.
One thing I learned: Ash has some big thinks sometimes.
Who is that Pokémon?: Snorlax, I guess they think we forgot the Pokémon from Kanto.
