Summary: Our friends run into a Pidgey with a cute hat being chased by a Fearow. Ash sends Noctowl to hypnotize it, which sends Fearow running. A whole hoard of Pidgey are flying around the city after our friends bandage it up. They run into its owner Malachi, who says the Pidgey’s bane is Ken. Team Rocket plans to steal all of the Pidgey in the Pidgey express building, where Malachi’s grandfather runs his carrier-Pidgey business. Malachi’s grandfather wants the Pidgey Express to end, because business has gone down. Nurse Joy calls, and requests medicine from the Pidgey Express, the Pidgey’s they sent have not made the delivery yet. Malachi uses his balloon that he made to find the Pidgey, who are being poached by Team Rocket. Noctowl spots Team Rocket, even after it creates a fake smoke mirage. Team Rocket is choking on their own supply, leaving them susceptible to Noctowl and Ken. Jessie sends out Arbok to battle, but falls since it is in the air, Jessie catches it so Arbok is able to use Poison Sting. Team Rocket drifts off due to Noctowl’s Hypnosis, our second favorite bird is getting a lot of run lately on Ash’s team. Ken and Noctowl free all of the Pidgey and send Team Rocket flying. Malachi finally convinces his grandfather that he can do the job, and Nurse Joy gets the medicine.
Best Trainer/Pokémon: Ken, this Pidgey has a wonderful personality.
Worst Trainer/Pokémon: You always look worse when you fuck with sick Pokémon, it’s not cool.
One thing I learned: Nothing can stop a Pidgey with a can-do attitude.
Who is that Pokémon?: Mewtwo, I’m going to say this once, Mewtwo is overrated as in every category except as a battler. Design is weird, don’t like their back story very much, and they are OP.
Best Quote: “That’s a little secret the boss doesn’t need to know about” -Jessie
Best Scene: Malachi’s grandfather, and his pride in Malachi.
