Airdate: October 5th, 2000
Summary: Our friends are on a beach, when they spot some Mankey and Aipom eating bananas. They enjoy some hot springs and get a little vacation. Our friends play some beach games that get intense, Cyndaquil gets smacked with a beach ball. Chikorita and Totodile get into a tiff, and Cyndaquil joins. Ash asks the Pokémon to find the ball. They run into a group of Aipom who taunt them with the ball. Meanwhile, Team Rocket dreams of hot springs and vacation. Ash’s starter Pokémon are running after the Aipom, and Team Rocket decides to run after them. A Snorlax comes out of nowhere and tries to eat James. It falls asleep right where the exit is, Meowth is about to call the zoning board. Meowth backs into a different corridor than Jessie and James, and runs into Totodile. Snorlax has some night terrors, and Totodile saves Meowth from a falling rock. Totodile, Cyndaquil, and Chikorita all try and break through. The starters reunite, and embrace each other. Meowth is still separated from Jessie and James, who get out of the cave and find the hot spring they have been looking for. The Aipom are in the hot spring and start to throw stuff at Team Rocket. All of the starters apologize to each other, and Chikorita finds a way out using Chikorita’s scent. Totodile breaks the exit with help from Meowth, and Ash decides to go look for our friends. Chikorita finally gets Snorlax out of the hole with a tickle, a Totodile bite, and a Cyndaquil flame. Meowth turns on the Pokémon, but Snorlax turns on Meowth. Our friends run into some danger but Ash saves them at the last second, and everyone plays as friends now.
Best Trainer/Pokémon: The starters, I loved seeing their relationship blossom.
Worst Trainer/Pokémon: Aipom, those monkeys were little shits today.
One thing I learned: Totodile is a humanist, and a lover. What a good croc.
Who is that Pokémon?: Wigglytuff, underrated, but not by a lot.

Best Scene: Meowth getting choked up by the starters.
