Airdate: March 8th, 2001
Summary: Our friends and Todd walk near a mountain, stop for a bite, and three Swinub nab Misty’s grub. A little girl named Peggy runs in and chastises the Swinub. Her dad, Rory, is a hot spring digger who uses his Swinub to locate hot springs, and Graveler digs for it. Jessie hears about the hot spring and fantasizes about a day of leisure. Team Rocket shows up to offer some help, but they have no luck finding hot springs. Team Rocket decide to steal the Swinub and Graveler, but Peggy finds them out and the gang chases after them. Our friends ride a sled down the mountain to chase Team Rocket, and Tracy misses the perfect shot of the Articuno. Team Rocket finds oil in the mountains, and wait, do you hear that, George Bush just called in and commanded Team Rocket to give it up. Team Rocket thinks they made it rich, but they just punched an oil company pipeline. Our friends catch up to Team Rocket, the Swinub leave Team Rocket’s custody and start to get really angry. Rory tells Team Rocket that the Swinub want to battle. They battle Wobbuffet and Arbok, and Jessie tries to get some modeling shots in. Poliwhirl helps with Weezing’s Smokescreen, and a Swinub Powder Snow Poliwhirl water Gun combo send team Rocket flying. The Swinub find a hot spring… next to an oil line, this might be dangerous, but hey Rory is going to make some money. Our friends say goodbye to the family whole Todd takes their picture, what a shutterbug.
Best Trainer/Pokémon: Swinub, they are adorable and helpful.
Worst Trainer/Pokémon: Rory, he seems like a bit of a dolt and too trusting of random people.
One thing I learned: Jessie was a terrible model in a former life.
