Airdate: March 15th, 2001
Summary: Golbat thinks it might have found where Articuno is, but leads them to a frozen Jigglypuff, ugh. Cyndaquil unfreezes Jigglypuff, and slightly burns it. Todd kind of freaks Jiggly out, and Misty treats her gently. Team Rocket is in their best mountain gear, going up to set a trap for the gang before they go up the mountain, but get stopped by a bunch of Spearow. Our friends go to a Pokémon Center, and Brock enters a fever dream with Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy present. They overhear Todd talking about Articuno, and show them the legend of the Articuno nest on the mountain. Team Rocket got stranded in the mountains but Articuno drops them off to our friends. They heat up in the cabin and vow to catch the Articuno and chase after the gang and Todd. Our friends get closer to tracking the bird, but Team Rocket jumps in right when Todd finds Articuno. Team Rocket attacks Articuno, who sends an Ice Beam Team Rocket’s way, which Wobbuffet Mirror Coat’s back to it before they blast off. Articuno, Todd, Pikachu, Ash, and Jigglypuff fall down a canyon, but Articuno saves them. Team Rocket shows up again, but Articuno sends gusts to save Todd and Ash from a Weezing Sludge attack and an Arbok Poison Sting. Articuno sends a Blizzard which blasts Team Rocket and Jigglypuff. Todd gets his shot, and decides to stay to take pictures of the Pokémon in the mountain.
Best Trainer/Pokémon: He gets his wish, to see the great Articuno in the flesh.
Worst Trainer/Pokémon: Jigglypuff, dammit Jiggly, why?
One thing I learned: Articuno is one of the coolest Gen 1 Pokémon.
Who is that Pokémon?: Charizard, not much can be said besides, amazing.
