Airdate: May 24th, 2001
Summary: Our friends are in a field near a windmill. Ash lets his Pokémon out and Chikorita is smitten with Ash per usual. Team Rocket enters the building near the windmill, while Ash and Chikorita go looking for firewood and get stuck in the building. Pikachu hears Ash, but can’t get into the building. Chikorita and Ash run into some Magnemite who start attacking them, Chikorita rebuffs them. They get cornered, but Chikorita uses everything inside them to keep the Magnemite and Magneton at bay. Ash saves Chikorita from a particularly harsh blast, and Jigglypuff shows up, James throws their microphone. Ash picks the microphone up, realizes the danger therein, and escapes with Chikorita before Jigglypuff sings the magnets to sleep. Ash and Chikorita find themselves surrounded by Electrode who decide to explode. Ash runs away from them and they roll right into Ash and Chikorita. Ash and Chikorita run into a room that Jigglypuff is in, but Chikorita takes their microphone and throws it. Team Rocket throws the microphone after running into Jiggly, and she fetches it putting Electrode to sleep. Team Rocket goes into the control room and run into an Electabuzz who tells them that they are in charge of security. Team Rocket convinces Electabuzz that they are from the home office, and send it on Ash and Chikorita. The head of security comes, and Brock falls in love. Chikorita faces Electabuzz, both of them but up a strong fight but Electabuzz gives Chikorita a punch that sends it flying. They continue fighting, but Team Rocket catches them in a trap. Team Rocket runs away, but Ash will not leave his Chikorita. Chikorita sees Ash being attacked by Team Rocket, and evolves into a Bayleef to defend him after a particularly devastating attack. Bayleef pops out of the cage with a Razor Leaf, and sends Team Rocket flying with the help of Electabuzz and Pikachu. Bayleef loves on Ash and it is a dawn of a new era.

Worst Trainer/Pokémon: Jigglypuff, ugh.
One thing I learned: Chikorita is a boss.
