Summary: Our heroes make it to Yellow Rock Isle, but there is really nobody in the streets as they walk around, very Yaz/Kaz gym style. They walk into a Corsola art shop, inspiring Misty to finally get a Corsola. Psyduck pops out of its ball, and runs to the beach, only to find a girl, Mika, and her Corsola headed towards a whirlpool before Bulbasaur and Bayleef save them. After helping Mikal and Corsola, they find out from her sister that their house is on top of a Corsola nest, but one energetic Corsola has been scaring off the others, ruining the foundation of their house. Our heroes vow to find the missing Corsola. Meanwhile, Team Rocket is trying to celebrate their 500th heist as they enter the Corsola shop storeroom, giving Jessie visions of rich grandeur. Team Rocket is caught between the store owner who alerts our heroes that they stole every piece of Corsola artwork, but Corsola tackles Jessie and Staryu demolishes Victreebel for an easy win and a return of their stuff, HYUUUUUUU. The Corsola are missing, so before Misty can try and catch one they need to find the rest. Noctowl searches for more Corsola and their house foundation seems to be back in order, a family again! But… Team Rocket is back and easily snags the Corsola, and Noctowl easily frees them with a little Wing Attack action. Staryu, HYUUUU, battles Arbok and Victreebel with the Corsola. The Corsola are initially hurt, but use Recover (such a sweet move) before sending them flying. Misty now has Poliwhirl battle Corsola and after facing Mirror Coat and Recover they attack Corsola enough for Misty to use her Lure Ball, thanks Kurt! On to Red Rock Isle!
Best Trainer/Pokémon: Psyduck, he located a Corsola and its trainer in distress, nice first responder work you duck! Honorable mention to my boy Poliwhirl!
Worst Trainer/Pokémon: Meowth, his ideas that Giovanni would care about Corsola is laughable, I always love the shtick, even if it is pathetic.
One thing I learned: You can make art out of Corsola shell… I’m not sure using live coral is ethical, especially with the fact that it is not from an animate being.
Who is that Pokémon?: Electabuzz, I don’t love the design but I love its cry HUWAWAWAWA, it sounds like a Disturbed song.
Best Quote: “Well I suppose I could show you my yellow Pokemon” -Misty trying everything in her power not to dunk on Psyduck.
Best Scene: The battle between Poliwhirl and Corsola, again shades of Bulbasaur and the Hidden Village.
