Airdate: November 29, 2001
Summary: Our friends are eating dango… but call them kabobs… huh, anyways are in Ecruteak City when an Espeon comes running forward with Sakura in tow. Brock starts to drool about Sakura and her sisters completing the Eevee evolution tree, leaving him breathless and woozy as they go to visit the sisters. The sisters are visiting their favorite dance instructor, meanwhile Sakura asks Misty to battle, it is Espeon vs. Corsola. Team Rocket turns out to be the dance instructors, doing a dance with Victreebel and Arbok. Back to the battle, Espeon dodges a Corsola Spike Cannon to use a Quick Attack and Corsola uses Recover. Team Rocket leads the sisters in a dance with the Eeveeloutions, criticizes the dancing of the Pokemon, and leads them to “special tutoring” which puts them in cages as Team Rocket flies away. Back to the battle, Corsola beats Espeon, and Sakura asks for Misty’s experience since they last met, so Misty explains how she caught Corsola and met Chinchou. Sakura laments that she cannot travel like her sisters, as they run to tell Sakura that they lost their Pokemon, meanwhile Jessie crashes out saying that they didn’t catch the Espeon. Espeon and Sakura decide to use Espeon as bait to lure Team Rocket, which she does well. Espeon plays keep away, and stupid, but right before James is about to capture her, Espeon runs away and our heroes plus the Kimono Sisters show up. Arbok and Victreebel go and battle Espeon and Corsola, who thoroughly kick their butt with a Spike Cannon and Quick Attack/Swift combo before blasting them off with a Psybeam and a patented Pikachu Thunderbolt. Sakura asks her sisters if she can leave Ecruteak and go out on her own just like Misty did, which the sisters agree to. Bye Bye Kimono Girls… oh Brock you will see them again someday.
Best Trainer/Pokémon: Espeon, a power-packed psychic marvel with a sleek frame and great colors!
Worst Trainer/Pokémon: Kimono Girls, they seem pretty naive to be deemed so mature and smart.
One thing I learned: Corsola can take a Poison hit like a champ.
Who is that Pokémon?: Drowzee, I like using it in a play-through more than I like the Pokemon itself, and only because Alakazam takes a trade to evolve.
Best Quote: “They aren’t worth a hill of beans if we don’t have the full set” -Jessie talking about Espeon not being at the dance class.
Best Scene: Espeon’s Psybeam, I love the colors of its coat.
