Summary: Our story starts with a Hitmonlee vs. Typhlosion, which hits the Typhlosion pretty hard, but not hard enough to make it last. Typhlosion hits it with a Flamethrower, dropping it. Jimmy, the Typhlosion’s trainer, journeys around Johto, the narrator indicates he will see Raikou. Team Rocket is involved here landing a copter on a helipad. They are led by that professor from Lake of Rage, and two people named Hun and Attilla. Team Rocket has a rechargeable energy crystal. Jimmy walks to the Pokemon Center and sees a girl named Marina who is talking to a guy named Vincent who says he likes her. Marina and Jimmy share their Pokegear number. Marina and Jimmy battle in a two Pokemon match. Marina sends a Jigglypuff out and Jimmy sends a Beedrill. Beedrill hits Jigglypuff with a Twinneedle to make it faint. Marina sends out a Croconaw, and Jimmy his Typhlosion. There is a huge blast during their battle, it’s a major lightning storm, and their Pokemon are running right to it. Team Rocket is using the machine to attract electric Pokemon, especially Raikou. They start rounding up the electric Pokemon when Raikou appears out of thin air. Raikou fights them but keeps fighting the machine, weakening Raikou enough to catch it, but right as they try, Jimmy steps up and battles Skarmory and Steelix. Typhlosion hangs tough but is no match for both at the same time. Marina’s Misdreavous uses Perish Song, Beedrill uses Pin Missile, forcing them to retreat. Jimmy tries to help Raikou but the cat tells it to stay away, even fighting Typhlosion. Raikou learns to trust Jimmy and they take it to the Pokemon Center for observation. Hun looks to set a trap for Raikou once it recovers. Eusine barges in and sees Raikou, Marina thinks he is cute. Eugene tells everyone about the legend of Raikou. Raikou breaks out of its cage and bounds away towards the lightning. Attila and Hun produced the same clouds, putting the crystal for Raikou to hit and charge. They send Steelix to get Raikou to be aggressive, using a Lightningrod/Dig combo to hit Raikou. Attila and Hun keep hitting Raikou, and send Steelix to get rid of Jimmy and Marina. Luckily, Vincent and his Meganium come and distract Hun while Jimmy and Misdreavous send Psybeam’s and Flamethrowers to push the crystal energy back. Attila grabs Raikou and flies off, and Marina is gone as well! Raikou tries to break down the walls, but slips and reveals wiring. Marina pulls and breaks the wiring, revealing an opening. Raikou jumps out, while Vincent freaks out that Marina is gone. Vincent calls her Pokegear number, Marina indicates she is alive, but Attila is controlling her and Misdreavous. Attila and Hun set up the crystal again to launch the signal and catch Raikou again. Raikou comes back, as do Vincent, Eusine, and Jimmy, now all of them have Pokemon out. Marina falls and lands on Vincent, but is saved by Jimmy. Hun sends out Steelix, but Raikou fights the Steelix instead of running, and avoids the crystal machine, destroying Attila’s control center. Attila and Hun say now that the control panel is busted, the crystal turns even more powerful and unrestrained, but Meganium, Typhlosion, Eusine’s Alakazam, and Misdreavous all combine to attack the crystal’s field. Attila sends Muk and Hun sends Skarmory to distract them, finally freeing Raikou and sending Team Rocket away. Raikou destroys the Crystal.
Best Pokemon: Raikou, this is about him and he is a badass Pokemon with a cool Pokedex entry.
