Summary: Misty is on her way to Cerulean City, but sees a billboard from the PIA, Pokemon Gym Inspection Agency, that says that they are closing gyms down. Misty comes in and there is a Gyrados on a rampage with a bunch of scared fans from her sister’s fan club., Misty calls Politoed to try and calm it down. Horsea and Starmie show up… hyuhhhhh! Nurse Joy talks to Misty about her fear of Gyrados from when she was a baby, and how she is terrified of it. Misty decides to conquer her fear, she needs to perform an underwater dance routine to soothe Gyrados who promptly uses a Whirlpool on her. In the middle of the whirlpool, Misty blacks out and has a vision of Ash and Brock saying she is a good gym leader, but that she needs to do it herself without their help. Misty wakes up with help from Nurse Joy, now she comes back and decides to cage it after it won’t go back in its Pokeball. The Invincible Brothers come in and challenge Misty to a battle for her gym, while inviting the whole town. She fights one of the brothers who was a Tentacruel with her Corsola, who uses Recover and Tackle after a Tentacruel Bubblebeam. The other two brothers join in and now it is 3 versus 1, who all three use Poison Sting against Corsola. Nurse Joy bans them from Pokemon matches, while Gyrados defends Misty after she steps in front of his cage to protect Gyrados from being hit by a Poison Sting trio attack. Gyrados uses a Hyper Beam and sends them flying, and now that Misty can command Gyrados they pass inspection from Nurse Joy, a secret Pokemon Inspection Agent who was testing her the entire time. Misty tells Joy, who is heading to Hoenn, that if she sees a guy named Ash tell him she made it as a gym leader.
Best Trainer/Pokémon: Misty, this is her arc and she has grown so much.
Worst Trainer/Pokémon: The Tweedle-dee and Tweedle Dumb Invincible Brothers, just a bunch of assholes.
One thing I learned: Misty still knows how to talk that talk.

Best Scene: Misty swimming to block those Poison Sting attacks only for Gyrados to go full rage on the Invincible Brothers.
