Summary: Tracy is at Prof. Oak’s Lab when Richie pops in with Sparky, Richie comes to help Richie figure out how to evolve his Eevee. Tracy calls Mary who says that Prof. Oak has vanished, they got to the TV station where he disappeared to help find him. Mary rehashes the day before Oak disappeared, they were going to get lunch and then poof, gone! Mary says two scientists had something rare to show Oak, he went off with them and they are gone. Richie helps the guards remember when the scientists came in, he has a theory about Oak being smuggled out of the station with a large package. The guard remembers a stuffed Nidoqueen being pushed by Butch, who in real time appears to be driving with Cassidy with Oak tied up in the back. Cassidy and Butch lured Oak in with promises of a Pokemon Egg that actually had Bulbasaur’s Sleep Powder, capturing him. Now that we have the whole story, let’s find Oak! Richie tells Jenny to set up a roadblock at the bridge as the guard says they were driving a truck with a Pidgeot on it. Butch and Cassidy were sent on the mission by Dr. Namba, who needed Oak to get information for his sinister research purposes. Richie sends his Taillow, named Rose, out.. Of course he has a Taillow. Tracy sketches a Pidgeot for Taillow to find so they can find Oak, Dr. Namba is on a video call as he asks him about Pokerus for his Pokemon Power Acceleration Project to help them evolve more quickly. Apparently the Pokemon he was experimenting on died… this episode got dark and we moved right by that quote. Butch and Cassidy torture Oak by scratching a nail on glass, Taillow locates Oak. Oak doesn’t give up his secrets, he stalls before Taillow comes in and breaks the glass. Butch and Cassidy say it is time to go, Cassidy sends out a Sableye and Botch a Mightyena. Sableye uses Focus Punch, Mightyena Bite, Scyther comes out and uses Slash. It is a back and forth affair, Scyther has to go back to his ball. Richie sends Sparkie and Rose out, they got Fury Swiped into oblivion. Richie calls Zippo the Charmeleon out, but Oak escapes anyways. Botch and Cassidy use their Pokemon well to distract Richie, but Sparky sends a Thunderbolt and Zippo a Fire Spin to send them flying. Oak is saved and still makes his live broadcast of Pokemon Master Chef with help from Officer Jenny. Richie gets help from Oak and is invited to spend time on the ranch, Richie will help him set up a security system.
Best Trainer/Pokémon: Richie, this man is smart and an adept trainer.
Worst Trainer/Pokémon: Butch and Cassidy, they always
One thing I learned: Richie is a next level investigator.
