Summary: Our crew goes through a tunnel in Dewford when Corphish pinches the ears of a Loudred who chases them out of the tunnel with their loud screams, Forretress Rapid Spins a hole in the wall, but Silcoon rolls away. Pikachu, Treecko, Mudkip, Torchic, Lotad, and Corphish follow after it and get separated from the group. Our crew goes and looks for them and learns that Loudred is the big voice Pokemon. Team Rocket shows up on the scene, steps on Loudred as usual and they blast off. Pikachu leads the troops out of the cave, and steps in when Corphish is about to eat a poisonous mushroom. Mudkip finds better Cheri Berries to eat.. Which also makes them sick, Treecko gives a Pound attack heimlich, what a goober. A Nuzleaf observes Pikachu and friends walking and plays a Grasswhistle to make them fall asleep. Nuzleaf gets a bit embarrassed after the troops manage to stay awake, he calls another Nuzleaf to come and surround the Pokemon. May and crew are worried about their Pokemon, Corphish takes berries as bait, Lotad gets scooped up, Treecko and Torchic are captured along with Silcoon in one cage by the Nuzleaf. Team Rocket is impressed by the Nuzleaf, Mudkip comes up to talk and negotiate with the Nuzleaf, but Team Rocket captures all of the Nuzleaf, leaving Mudkip the only free one. Our crew runs up to the balloon, Corphish sends Ash up to the balloon with a crabhammer, Ash manages to untie them down with his teeth. Everyone gets down safely, except somehow Corphish falls from the sky… Treecko saves them and they become friends. Our crew says goodbye to Nuzleaf.
Best Trainer/Pokémon: Pikachu, helping Corphish stay alive one berry at a time.
Worst Trainer/Pokémon: Team Rocket, their plan was foiled.. And honestly outdone by Nuzleaf and crew who learned to be compassionate.
One thing I learned: Mudkip is capable and confident.
Who is that Pokémon?: Treecko, love this Pokemon and the whole line.. I really like Gen 3 more and more as I go on in years. I used to be a bit of a hater.
Best Quote: “This is the strongest knot ever”- Team Rocket… yeah right a ten-year old munched it in a few seconds. .
Best Scene: Nuzleaf realizing Ash would do anything to help a Pokemon in need, that look of recognition is powerful.
