Summary: May walks with the crew as she pretends she is a documentarian. Our crew walks right where the water happens to be, but everyone wants to climb up the wall where the waterfall is. Brock has a Lotad Water Gun, a rope to a tree to climb up the face of the rock. They happen upon a marsh where they run into a bunch of baby Mudkip, one of them falls into the river that leads to the waterfall, an older Mudkip helps Lotad retrieve the Mudkip. A human pops out of the bushes with a Mudkip like haircut, he says his name is Swampy and he is the breeder of these Mudkip. Swampy tells our crew that he is the one who raises and trains all of the starter Pokemon Mudkip, but the one who saved the baby Mudkip doesn’t really have too many friends outside of the baby Mudkip, Swampy implies it needs a trainer. Team Rocket sees a fence and decides to claim it because inside must be something of value. The solitary Mudkip runs off, Brock runs after it and tries to make friends with it by offering his homemade Pokemon food. Swampy and crew see the broken fence, Team Rocket pops out, and it is on after Swampy tells Team Rocket accidentally that if they break the dam the Mudkip would get washed out and they could capture them all. Cacnea hits James into the dam and breaks it, Brock and Mudkip see the water rise from the dam, Brock sends Forretress to the dam to use Rapid Spin, Lotad scoops up the Mudkip. One of the Mudkip is caught in the rapids, but Brock and the friendly Mudkip run to save it from the rocks. After the Mudkip are saved, Team Rocket nabs them on a second attempt but Lotad and Mudkip water the ground under their Mudkip-Grabbing Grandma Machine and sink Team Rocket’s fortunes. The Mudkip are released and Team Rocket is blown away per usual. Brock and Mudkip become close, so Swampy suggests Brock train it and take it along with them.
Best Trainer/Pokémon: Swampy, he holds an important role in the Hoenn region and is doing something honorable.
Worst Trainer/Pokémon: Team Rocket, stealing babies is a bit too far.
One thing I learned: Baby starter Pokemon are trained by all sorts of breeders, should have thought of this.
Who is that Pokémon?: Pelipper, I used to think nothing of this pelican and now it is one of my favorite in the whole series, YOU’VE BEEN PECKED BY THE PELICANS.

Best Scene: Mudkip joining Brock, he now has his lineup of Hoenn Water-types that are amazing.
