Summary: Meowth narrates the Pichu brothers trying to hang out with their friends, they all meet in the park but spill their chestnuts. Meowth wakes up in the Big City with a cup of joe when he has days off from Team Rocket, he says he wants a monument built of him. Meowth shows his split personality of a husband and a housewife. Meowth makes a picnic basket and finds the perfect spot, the center of town, to put his statue. Meowth runs into a Smoochum and they both have baskets that switch in the bump. Meowth realizes this and tracks down Smoochum into the Pichu Brothers home. The Pichu don’t know why Meowth is chasing them, but they run with the basket. Meowth leaves Smoochum’s basket and tracks down its own after Wooper sends it flying over the fence. Meowth steps on Houndour who freaks out and chases the scaredy cat who drops the basket right near Teddiursa who ate all the food. Meowth is hit hard by Houndour, finds out his sandwich is finished, and goes home to take a nap. Meowth wakes up and feels motivated again to finish his statue, gets a job as a pizza boy to pay for it, but asks the Pichu brothers to help them with his work, they agree. Meowth gives them marching orders to deliver the pies, but each of them fail to deliver or eat the pies themselves. They all return empty handed, Meowth loses his job and gets a janitorial job. Meowth sees the Pichu brothers and crew as he is sweeping the park, they offer to help make Meowth’s dreams a reality. They help Meowth with his cleaning job, but of course the Pichu brothers get distracted as baby Pokemon are want to do and end up breaking the moon statue, getting mad at each other, and ruining the entire park. The fountain breaks and sends all the Pokemon spilling out. Meowth’s gets fired again, but his new friends try to cheer Meowth up with acorns, he begrudgingly eats them.
Best Trainer/Pokémon: Meowth, he just wants to build a statue and work for it… commendable.
Worst Trainer/Pokémon: Houndour, always in a bad mood.
One thing I learned: Meowth is both practical and hard working, but extremely unlucky. Luckily, he has nine lives.
Best Quote: “Trust no one and look out only for yourself” – Meowth, I know he has had a hard life but I know he doesn’t believe this.
Best Scene: Pichu Brothers cleaning the glass, it was a very wholesome moment.
